KARO-KARI : Honor Killings in Pakistan

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SACRAFICIAL LAMBS IN THIS WAR - THIS WAR AGAINST WOMEN!
There has been a long plague of ‘honor killings’ in Pakistan. Statistics claims that between 500-1000 women die in honor killings every year – in my opinion that number is probably much higher. Husbands, sons, fathers and brothers kill women in their family to restore their family honor and reputation. These ‘honor killings’ are known as KARO-KARI: a metaphoric term for adulterer and adulteress; its literal meaning is black male – black female. Once a woman is deemed “Kari”, the family authorizes the right to kill her in order to restore family honor.

There are thousands of women being murdered every year, under the name of honor killings, but these deaths are very poorly reported because ‘honor killings’ are seen as culturally heroic acts. Morality and honor is viewed in the act of the perpetrator and inverts the act of murder into a valiant opportunity for regaining family integrity. Since these ‘honor killings’ are very popular and highly supported in rural Pakistani regions, many of the deaths go unrecorded. Under Pakistani law, the perpetrators should be prosecuted for murder. Unfortunately, in practice, many of the victims disappear and the police simply ignores the acts of the murders.

Here I ask for someone to explain how Sharia Law justifies the term of KARO-KARI…

Muslims too believe in the prophecy of Jesus and so I quote the following from the Bible (John 8:3 – 8:11):
